Text messages (SMS)
If you provide your mobile number and consent, we may send you text messages relating to your matter — including reminders of upcoming court dates, hearings, appointments and deadlines, and messages responding to your questions.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or of our representation. You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at 303-521-7671. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share information only as follows:
- ▸Service providers who help us operate the practice — such as our practice management and communications platform, email provider, and website host — and only to the extent needed to provide those services to us.
- ▸In the course of representation, where disclosure is necessary to carry out your matter or where you direct or authorize it.
- ▸Where required by law, such as in response to a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, subject to our obligations to protect confidential and privileged information.
Confidentiality
Information relating to the representation of a client is protected by our professional duty of confidentiality and, where applicable, the attorney-client privilege. Those protections are broader than this policy and control in the event of any conflict.
Please note that submitting our contact form, or sending us an email or text message before we have agreed to represent you, does not create an attorney-client relationship, and information sent that way may not be treated as confidential or privileged. Please do not send sensitive or time-sensitive information until an attorney-client relationship has been established.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics and a Google Ads conversion tag to measure how people find and use the site. We have disabled advertising personalization and Google signals on these tags, which means your visit is not used to build advertising audiences or to show you personalized ads elsewhere.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from using the site.
Data retention
We keep client and matter information for as long as required by our professional obligations and applicable law. Inquiries that do not become matters are kept only as long as needed to address the inquiry and maintain our conflict-checking records.
